Halo 2 was released on November 9, 2004 nearly four years after Halo: Combat Evolved, yet it still saw some of the largest sales data to ever be recorded for a video game. The much awaited PC version of Halo 2 was finally released on May 3, 2007 exclusiovely for the Windows Vista operating system. Along with the "advantage" of being able to use the mouse and keyboard, PC owners were able to take part in an "Xbox Live" style of play called Games for Windows Live.
